I think your theory is spot on. When i learned about the seaway a few months ago, it seemed to fit in with a landmass different than current maps. A UA-camr geologist Myron Cook has a good video on the seaway. You did a great job explaining the world timeline. Well done. Your theory is very plausable.

⁠So far the continued radiometric dating of Adena mounds does seem to be holding consistent with the 500 BC start date. Of course always better to keep getting as much data as possible. There is also a geological problem with most of the Heartland models as the BOM indicates that the most damage was on the land northward but the land northward proposal including Cumorah are too far away from the New Madrid fault to have the level of shaking needed to collapse buildings in those areas. Plus there is no method for mist of darkness covering both the land northward and southward. There has been observed earthquake smog which is just water vapor as well as some sand blows, but they only occur close to the actual fault. A lot of people propose models just looking for a narrow neck without considering all the necessary parameters for a viable geographical model.

If the Eastern Sea was "Definitely" Lake Ontario, then it is only logical to say the Western Sea was Lake Erie, with a narrow stretch of land between them as is stated in the BoM.

Just look at a Captain Kidd map... that'll tell you where it was. That is where Joseph Smith came up with the name Moroni as well as Cumorah! Joseph Smith was a huge Captain Kidd fan. Joseph became massive treasure diggers thanks largely to these legends of Captain Kidd. Perhaps most importantly, the idea of an angel (Nephi/Moroni) guarding the buried treasures (golden plates, sword of Laban), requiring a seer to find them (Joseph Smith), and the idea that the treasure(s) could be taken back or away….all of those ideas came straight from the Captain Kidd lore of spirits/ghosts guarding buried treasures. Treasure Digging was where Joseph first learned to convince people that he had special powers (even though he didn’t). This was an important part of Joseph gaining a reputation as someone with spiritual gifts. And of course the rock in the hat shenanigans were all developed as a part of the treasure digging scheme. When Joseph couldn’t do treasure digging any more (due to all the legal troubles, and the ire of Emma’s father Isaac), Joseph took all the “skills” that he learned treasure digging and transferred them into the Book of Mormon project as his next “gig” - but so much of the Book of Mormon project had roots in the treasure digging. This included: Treasure buried in a hillside, An angel/spirit protecting the treasure, Joseph as the magical one to see/retrieve the treasure, and The treasure ultimately being taken away by the guardian spirit. All of these components come from the Captain Kidd lore.

They still had no timber a hundred years after the Jaredites were gone so they had to build houses out of cement. Is there any evidence for this? There are lots of cement and stone builder civilizations in the American southwest.

Look up the story and timeline of Siyaj Kʼakʼ (Fire Is Born). It corresponds perfectly with the final battles of Mormon. That is smoking gun for me. Heartland has nothing comparable.

It is my understanding that the Navajo-Dine traditional teachings tell that they came from the East in ships into the Four Corners region. I've been studying the history of California, in particular the native peoples and migrations because of my Mexican roots, which are from northwest Mexico and Mexico City area. This included maps and older traditions about an inland sea. From living in the southwest the physical evidence of such a seaway is indisputable in my mind. Living in Alaska now and knowing that we have Mitochondrial DNA connecting to the native peoples here as well, has been leading me along the lines that early peoples were much more migratory that we allow our modern minds to consider, and that the idea of inland seas would have facilitated southward migration as well. I believe the Lenne Lenape people (Delaware and Pennsylvania areas) have a tradition of a great inland sea to the west of their current homelands, which disappeared in a night and forced them to migrate to the east. THANK YOU for producing this presentation and I'll be looking at more from you and other sources to build the picture forming in my mind. It will take many people, from many different perspectives to create a clearer picture of the people of the Americas and root out the truth of the matter.

Hg X in North America being 30k years old is based off of a flawed molecular clock that does not match what we observe about genetic mutation in humans in the present day. It is wild to me that it is such a universally accepted theory. It's foundation is guesses based on other guesses (just like Earth history as you said). I'm not convinced that the Earth is not Billions of years old but I do think that the genetic clock used to say Hg X in North America being 30k years old is absolutely wrong. Just a small example: there is a correlation between genetic diversity and mutation rate. The 3 immigrant groups (Jared, Mulek, Lehi) would have all had low genetic diversity which impacts generational mutation rate. Just as the estimate of the age of the Earth is based of estimated rates of natural processes and does not account for quick catastrophic events and changes; the estimates of the age of Hg X in North America is based off of crazy guesswork.

Only problem I have with this, is that you can not accept official dates for Hopewell and Adena and say that matches with Nephites, but then throw out the rest of their dating because the bible says we are only 6000 years old. The earth is much much older than what the Bible states and has been through many dispensations before Adam arrived, saying the Holy Ghost has proven every word in the Bible is true is another debate, as there are stories proven to be stolen from older cultures as well as changed and manipulated. What about the Book of Enoch that was removed from it?

Good job. Need to get the word out. Meso model is almost laughable with the knowledge we have now. I must admit the 4 different seas always confused me when I was a kid and tried to understand how that worked in Central America. It got to the point my testimony was under attack trying to make the Meso model work when I was younger. All I could do was lean on my testimony of the BoM. When I found the Heartland model my testimony surged because of what I read. And the more I read and understand the more amazing I see it. You would think as you learned more, it would lessen in power if it was false, but its the opposite. The more we learn, the more I am in awe of this.

Yes, the Book of Mormon only happened in North America. It is just as the prophet Joseph said I. This land he was never further than southern Canada. You also must consider several apostles and President Nelson in recent addresses saying the Book happened in the land of America as in USA. The evidence has come forth from the ground, and the native Americans will tell you they came from the east. The land of North America was obviously changed after the time of the earthquake and darkness that happened in the record of the Book of Mormon leaving us with what is is today..

This would make sense as the ancient Redwood and Sequoia forests in the West and Northwest US, were untouched for thousands of years, despite The Book of Mormon mentioning the Jaredites removing trees.. As well as Joseph Smith in his statement when discovering Zelph, that the Prophet Onandagus was known from the Eastern Sea to the Rocky Mountains (but apparently not beyond).

God created the earth in WAAAAAAY more than 6 days, that's why we prefer to call them periods, and while Adam did start around 6k B.C. the early evolution did not. And YES, God uses evolution to create things, he could, but will not possibly design EVERY SINGLE thing on earth. Simple example, have you EVER seen two trees, of the same species, that are the same? NO! and God would not create a cabillion designs of trees. He sets rules, and lets nature evolve. Now, that early humans evolutions were more like animals, it's true. But they were not His children. Nobody until Adam, had a child-of-God-Spirit on the body.

I live part of each year on the Yucatan peninsula and associate daily with the Mayan people. I heard a quote from a non-LDS Mayan leader/scholar that, "We are not your Book of Mormon Lamanites! But, we are of the house of Israel. At Palenque is a large carved relief of a lesser Mayan (King?} swearing an oath to a Greater King. It is very reminiscent of the oath sworn to Abraham by his servant in Genesis 24:2. The lesser king has his hand "under his thigh" (both Genesis and I use the euphemism).

Where do you get the information about the ancient inlet of the sea from the Gulf of Mexico to St Louis Missouri? I cannot find that information.

Ty for these videos, I too have believed for many years that this is where the neophyte and laminate history from the BofM took place. My husband is not a member, however, he has given permission for me to do his families Temple work, will attend church with me once in awhile and does allow the missionaries to come over each week to visit. He is very math and science minded and these videos help explain how things are possible. I appreciate all the work you put in to these videos.

Learn more about geography and how dates are determined. There are a lot of good reasons to believe that the earth really is 4.5 billion years old. The various dates of dinosaur bones and inland seas are based on several sources of evidence--they're not just stabs in the dark.

here we go again... ok one simple thing that trumps ALL these claims. The book of Mormon CLEARLY states that when the people went "north" above the land of desolation, they found pretty much "Land with no trees" and they became "experts" on the building with cement. Where in the US, if yo go north do you find "no trees"?? if anything it gets greener and more full of forest the norther you go. and as a cherry on top, No mention of snow, and with years long battles with "naked" lamanites... no mention of people freezing to death or coats... yeah... very possible... lol

I'm open to the fact the what took place in the book of Mormon could have very well happened in the middle eastern united states. And Joseph Smith might not have mentioned America's. But the introduction page of the Book of Mormon states this The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible. It is a record of God’s dealings with ancient inhabitants of the Americas and contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel. So it states right there the America's.

2 Nephi 5:6 says that when the Nephites were separating themselves from the lamanites, Nephi says he brings Sam, Zoram, his sisters, Jacob, Joseph and all their families "AND all those who would go with me." Indicating there were others who hadn't been named in the record yet, probably indicating those of a pre-existant culture that had since joined the nephite religion. The evidence for the book of mormon having taken place in North America is pretty compelling. Your videos prove that. Most days, If I were asked, I would say that I believe that the book of mormon took place in north america. BUT the one thing I would say is this: Whether it happened in North america or another part of the americas, there IS at least some evidence that the nephites and lamanites intermingled with an already existent population.

Any and all information and knowledge is good. I agree with the Hopewell mound builders are the B of M people, all the current archeology and Native American records and oral history are supporting this. But there are many gaps in our knowledge. We know of many more migrations than are mentioned in the Bible and B of M. And there may have been native populations as a result of continental drift, and for all we know alien migrations who also were tribes of God. We don't know. We only have some of the pieces to a grand multidimensional puzz!e. We have to remember that God is the ultimate scientist. We tend to think in three dimensional ways. We forget that God lives in multiple dimensions at the same time. Look at the stars, the vastness of the universe. The light that we see in the night sky has taken millions of our years to reach earth. It is real time to us but actually God sees it in the actual time it is happening from each point of light. And we also know that there exists in conjunction with this other dimentions. We know that there was a pre-existence, dimentions of post resurrection of different degrees. God has stated that he has created many mansions.Mind blowing, I know. He showed this to many prophets... Moses, Abraham, Brother of Jered, etc. Moses was shown every particle of the earth and every person (soul) that would ever live on the earth and those that rejected God and were tossed out with Satan. God could never explain to us how this all works, but He knows. God may very well use some form of evolution to prepare the earth. We don't know how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden in a terrestrial state until the original sin was committed; could have been millions of years but the instant the sin was committed, the earth changed into a tells still state where there was both pain and joy, life and death, reproduction, etc. The point is, we should always strive to want to know true history. It is important to know who and where the B of M people were, how they lived, and who they are today as covenant people. I appreciate the work you guys do. And the me soda Rican model? Biblically your information is dead wrong. Satan was an angel and angels are a completely different creation. Secondly your information is flawed on Christ. He is our God. Not our spiritual brother. This is awesome brother! My brother and I are so deep in the hole it might be too late for us. We invested in our first flip property. while doing the renovations interest rates were increasing and by the time we completed the project rates were around 7% and we didn't get many visits when we listed. We're currently fighting foreclosure.
